Safety rails
Safety rails that stretch along the sides of the Stretcher X2 minimize the risk of patient fall. Due to the patented solution (EP Nr. 3496694 and US Nr. 11110019), they are sturdier, firmer and also easier to clean.
Personal storage space
To store patient’s personal belongings when they are admitted to the emergency room, the stretcher features a 13,5 liter compartment integrated in the base cover.
Castor Controls
Dual-end castor controls operated by foot are part of standard equipment of the four-section patient transport trolley Stretcher X2. To optimize the operation of castors, the foot controls can be located on all four sides as optional equipment. This way medical personnel can lock, free or lock the castors in one direction quickly regardless of where they stand around the trolley.
Push handles
As part of standard equipment, fixed height push handles are located at head and foot end of the stretcher. They ensure the personnel to safely maneuver the trolley along hospital corridors. Optionally you can choose foldable handles that can be quickly lowered for free access to patients.
Height adjustment
Stretcher X2 is a hydraulic patient transport trolley with foot pedals for height adjustment. They are located on both sides of the trolley so the personnel can access them more easily. The stretcher lowers down to 52 cm which eases the mount and dismount to patients.
Flexibility
Stretcher X2 with a four-section top allows quick adjustment to Anti-/Trendelenburg positions via foot pedals. The head section is long and can be lifted up to an 85° angle. It can provide a comfortable semi-sitting or a sitting position, also in order to support patients who have trouble breathing.
Smooth transport
Being 18 kg lighter than the previous Stretcher X generation, the X2 patient trolley is even easier to maneuver. Standard ø 200 mm castors, ergonomic push handles, an optional 5th wheel for easier turning on the spot and rubber bumpers on all four corners ensure stress-free and smooth patient transport along the hospital corridors.
Mattress
To meet the needs of an individual hospital ward, you can choose between two mattress types. A non-slip mattress features Velcro strips on the underside to prevent sliding, while a transfer mattress features handles to allow with-mattress patient transfers. In order to provide appropriate support and comfort to patients, both types are available in three different options varying in foam structure and thickness: responsive, comfort and extra comfort.

Antistatic mattress
To meet the needs of an individual clinical setting where stretchers are in use, you can choose between two mattress types. The transfer mattress is suitable for smooth with-mattress patient transfers and it features handles on both sides. The non-slip mattress features Velcro strips on the underside to prevent sliding, especially when patients access or get off the stretcher.
For patients’ optimum support and comfort, the two mattress types are available in three different options that vary in thickness and foam structure. The mattress responsive is made of a 6 cm highly flexible, quick-recovery foam. The mattress comfort is 8 cm thick and features a layer of memory foam. The mattress extra comfort is made of a three-layer foam, including memory and air permeable foam, and is 10 cm thick.

On the hydraulic model, the sections are adjusted manually. The head and leg sections are supported by gas springs, which make positioning smooth, safe, and easy to handle for medical staff.
