Head-support versatility

The table comes with a three-dimensionally adjustable headrest. Due to its flexibility, it offers perfect support for patients of all sizes and optimal access for the surgeon. It can be substituted with different head supports from other suppliers, thanks to the headrest adapter.

Safety in an emergency

Since the table is completely electrically operated, it is also equipped with a manual SOS castor release. In case of an emergency situation, the table’s castors can be easily unblocked by activating the manual lever under the base.

Excelent stability

The robust construction of Operating table Y combined with the overall safe working load of 320 kg ensures a stable and reliable surgical platform. Patient weight is limited to 230 kg which makes it appropriate for most patient population.

Safe and maneuverable

The mobile OR Table Y is highly maneuverable and easy to handle inside the OR, as well as in long hospital corridors and around tight bends. This makes it the perfect solution for outpatient surgery centers, facilitating patient preparation outside the OR. The double swivel castors, fifth wheel, and central brake system are regulated by an intuitive hand switch, simplifying their operation.

Versatile patient positioning

Combination of lateral tilt and Anti/Trendelenburg position

In lower abdominal surgical procedures, gravity assists surgeons in moving organs out of the way to gain optimal access to the surgical site. With a combination of lateral tilt and Anti/Trendelenburg, both adjustable up to +/- 20 degrees, surgeons can perfectly position their patients to perform their job effectively and confidently.

Prone position

The patient in the prone position lies face down. To ensure their comfort and proper alignment, foam positioners and supports are used. This position allows best clinical access for surgeries performed on the posterior parts of the body, as in neurosurgery, colorectal and vascular surgery.

Arm surgery in supine position

Surgeries performed on patient’s arm require precise positioning to ensure optimal access and support throughout the procedure. The patient is placed in a supine position, with their arm extended and securely supported on an arm & hand table. This specialized support maintains the arm in a stable position, preventing any movement. Thanks to the wide height adjustment range, the Operating table Y offers perfect ergonomics for every surgeon either sitting or standing during the procedure.

Lateral position

The lateral position is most commonly used in back, colorectal, kidney and hip surgeries. Patients are placed on either left or right side depending on the surgical site. To maintain alignment during a surgical procedure, they are supported by pillows, positioners and supports.

Supine position

The supine position, where patients lie face up, is used for a wide range of surgeries including ophthalmic, ENT and plastic surgery. It provides surgeons with an unobstructed view and an optimal access to multiple surgical sites: abdomen, chest, head and extremities. To meet the unique demands of a specific surgery, the operating table can be customized by accessories and supports either from in-house selection or third-party suppliers. The standard narrow headrest can be easily replaced with other head supports due to the headrest adapter.

Beach chair position

The Beach chair position is commonly associated with orthopedic shoulder surgeries. The patient’s position mimics a comfortable sitting position in a beach chair with flexed knees. The backrest features detachable cutouts to ensure excellent clinical access to the patient’s shoulder. Also known as Fowler’s position, it is also utilized in nasal, dental, neurosurgery, and plastic surgery.
