At Novak M, knowledge and progress are high on the scale of values. We can keep pace with development and consequently respond to the needs of our customers only by being open to new knowledge and findings.
This year, two of our team are attending the Program for Management Development at the renowned IESE business school of University of Navarra, Spain. The 6-month program for functional managers is currently attended by 23 participants from across Europe and from different industries and backgrounds. The learning process mainly involves case studies, debates and simulations. In a dynamic and rich learning environment, participants learn to understand strategies, people, processes and systems in different functions and how they integrate to drive value. In simpler terms, they acquire competences and skills that every good senior functional manager needs.
Jakob Jauševec, Market Development Manager at Novak M, says about the program: “Decision for PMD at IESE Barcelona was one of my best decisions recently. The program itself, challenging lectures and international group is definitely pushing me out of the daily routine and working environment. This also allows me to experience and learn more about business, economy, leadership and see the challenges from various perspectives. It drives my personal and career growth and it gives you toolbox for taking better decisions.”
At Novak M, we want our company to be a stimulating environment for our employees not only in terms of growth of our business but also in terms of each individual’s professional and personal improvement and development. Let us conclude with one of the values of IESE business school we strongly cherish too: »We believe that people come first. Human resources are any organizations most valuable asset.«
