Examination tables: compliance with required standards explained

All our examination tables comply with the required standards and certifications, which means they are safe and reliable equipment that is suitable even in demanding clinical environments.

Safe and reliable equipment with CE marking

The first mark that communicates quality to the customer is the CE mark. It affirms that the examination table meets all the requirements of European legislation regarding safety, health and environment as set out in the Medical Device Regulation (EU) MDR 2017/745. In our products, you can find the CE marking on the silver label that serves as the product’s identity card.

What are the safety standards and what do they mean?

The examination tables, both hydraulic and electric, have been tested at the Slovenian Institute for Quality and Metrology (SIQ), which is an independent and professional institution for testing and certifying products.

During these tests, performance, stability, working loads are tested to ensure that tables are safe to use. Our tables comply with EN 60601-1:2006, which refers to the general requirements for basic safety and essential performance.

Electric examination tables are subject to additional tests to ensure electrical safety, including electromagnetic compatibility and usability. They comply with EN 60601-1-2:2015 and EN 60601-1-6:2010.

In addition, the company operates in accordance with several ISO standards that demonstrate the company’s compliance with a specific management system, such as EN ISO 9001:2015.
