Cancer Day 2023
The annual Cancer Day on February 4th is an incentive for everyone to reflect and inform about the disease and to take action regarding prevention and support.
The annual Cancer Day on February 4th is an incentive for everyone to reflect and inform about the disease and to take action regarding prevention and support.
The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) is the initiator of the World Cancer Day Campaign, marking the second year under the slogan “ Close the care gap “. In its broadest sense it aims to create a world where all cancer patients can be well cared for, deaths that can be prevented are prevented and suffering from the disease can be reduced.
Statistics show that cancer is the second leading cause of death globally, causing one in six deaths in 2018.*
So let this day be an opportunity for all of us to realize that this disease can happen to you, me or our loved one, overnight. We will only benefit from knowing more about it, and especially from knowing more about how we can act to prevent it.
Let the day prompt us into action. Maybe in taking better care for our own health or to do something for the people who suffer from the disease.
We would like to send a word of support to all those who are currently struggling with the disease and to all the medical personnel who, with their dedication, are doing everything in their power to cure it.
Our company is dedicated to designing medical products that support both caregivers and patients. The greatest satisfaction is the positive feedback when our equipment is confirmed to perform its mission. We are happy to have received such feedback from the gastroenterology department at UKC LJ and oncology department at Clinique Générale Beaulieu in Geneva, Switzerland, where patients receive chemotherapy on our Therapy chairs ZeroG .
